Proper storage: Store in airtight container. Keep it refridgerated, only at room temperature briefly.

Shelf life: The cake keeps 5-6 days in the refrigerator in airtight container. Can be taken out of the fridge 1/2-1 hour before serving.

Freezing: The cake can be frozen for 6-8 months (this also applies if the cake is pre-cut).

Thawing: The cake must thaw 1 day in the fridge. Shelf life after thawing is 2 days.

How can you tell whether it is good or bad:
Typical signs that the cheesecake is too old, are:
That it is dry around the edges, taned edges, biscuit base becomes excessively wet and the cake dries out in general.
